CPA & PRESIDENT

Tony Schaffer, the President of C.A. White, Inc. and a Certified Public Accountant, comes with a strong background in the Public Accounting field. With over thirty-five years experience in the real estate business, Tony presently oversees all of the financial functions within the organization, including the utilization of the MRI Software.

Tony also brings to the firm his extensive real estate investment experience. This experience includes developing and monitoring both capital and operating budgets and overseeing major real estate financing, acquisitions, and developments.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

Michael holds a BA degree from Yale University and a MBA degree from Harvard Business School. He has been actively involved in the business for over 25 years, serves as Manager for Block 235 Development Associates, LLC, and directs leasing operations. Prior to joining the business, Michael had extensive banking experience as Senior Vice President at both Bank of New England and Bank of Boston. His expertise in the banking industry ranges from Marketing, Loan Workouts, to Commercial and Real Estate Management responsibilities. During Ella Grasso’s Administration, Michael served as Executive Aide to the Commissioner of Public Works with responsibilities over the State’s property management and construction programs. He also holds a Connecticut Real Estate license. Actively involved in community organizations, Michael served as Chair of the New Haven Development Commission, Convention & Visitors Bureau, Downtown Special Services District, Neighborhood Music School, Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign Jewish Community Center, and Chair, United Way Campaign, 1999. Michael presently sits on the Boards of the Chamber of Commerce, Long Wharf Theatre, Science Park, First Community Bank, and Start Bank and is a fellow of Silliman College at Yale.

VICE PRESIDENT

Susan Ryan has worked at C.A White for over 10 years after an extensive career in banking where she was a Managing Director at Fleet Bank. Her managerial experience encompasses operations, wealth management, international trade, cash management and many strategic and technical areas. She has a B.A and M.A. from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Susan works with C.A. White’s Property Management, Human Resources, and Marketing.

CPM®, Commercial And Residential Property Management

Sandi has worked as the Senior Property Manager for C.A. White, Inc for about 20 years. She oversees over 200 residential units in Downtown New Haven as well as approximately 600,000 square feet of commercial space including retail and office properties which are both company owned and third party contracts.

Sandi has held an officer position for over 10 years with CT Chapter of IREM (Institute of Real Estate Management), including President. Sandi earned her CPM® (Certified Property Manager) designation in 2006 and currently holds her Real Estate license. She was awarded CPM® for the Year in 2007. She received her B.S. in Business Management from Central Connecticut State University. Sandi is currently taking classes to obtain her CCIM designation.

Sandi lives in Southington with her two children, Kaitlin and Jake.

LEASING DIRECTOR

Corrine grew up in Staten Island and moved to CT in 2001.  While living in NYC she worked on Wall St. where she managed the Registration Department and was a Junior Compliance Officer.  The experience (not a good one) of buying her first home prompted her to study for and receive a NY State Real Estate license.  After moving to CT she landed in property management at C.A. White.  After acquiring the CT Real Estate License Corrine joined the Institute of Real Estate Management and received the Accredited Residential Manager (“ARM”) designation.  Corrine now heads up our Leasing division for C.A. White’s three residential properties. 

LEASING COORDINATOR

Paula started at C.A. White in 2020 with a background of over 30 years in Real Estate Leasing and

Property Management at Fusco Management Company.

Paula and Corrine are a team that responds to apartment rental inquiries and will show apartments to

anyone who would like a tour. Paula also coordinates all the residential tenant move ins and outs.

Paula obtained her Real Estate Salesperson License in 2023.
